CHICAGO, IL (April 3, 2019) – Intouch Group, a full-service agency network serving the pharmaceutical industry, is proud to announce that Angela Tenuta, EVP, client services has been recognized as a Luminary Award winner by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. The HBA will honor Tenuta as a 2019 Luminary at its 30th Woman of the Year awards ceremony in New York City on May 9, 2019.
“I’m thankful to work in a supportive environment alongside hundreds of hard working and inspiring people. I flat-out love my job,” says Tenuta. “But I’ve been so busy managing Intouch growth that I’ve not spent enough time getting to know the healthcare community at large. So, I’m really looking forward to becoming a member of the HBA, meeting and learning from fellow female leaders.”
The forty-five Luminaries, chosen by the HBA and their corporate partner companies, are professionals with more than 20 years of professional industry experience, who serve as role models in their company, actively mentor and sponsor others, and are shining examples of transformational leadership that the organization wants to formally recognize.
Throughout her tenure at Intouch Group, Tenuta has spearheaded tremendous growth, both at the agency as a whole and the Chicago office specifically. Over the past eleven years, she has seen the Chicago office grow from one employee to nearly 300 employees, cut the ribbon on a new new office space on Michigan Ave, and expanded that space. In addition to managing the growth of the agency, Tenuta serves as a mentor for her employees, and has championed multiple large, internal initiatives driving professional development opportunities cross-office. Tenuta is passionate about encouraging employees to produce exceptional work for clients.
