Intouch’s David Windhausen Honored as a Top 10 Innovation Catalyst

OVERLAND PARK, KS (May 9, 2019) David Windhausen, EVP, Development Services, Intouch Group, and President, Intouch B2D, has been named a Top 10 Innovation Catalyst by Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M). The inductees were honored at a May 7 awards ceremony, on the eve of the MM&M’s annual Transforming Healthcare Conference.

This year’s list of 50 MM&M Healthcare Transformers and Innovation Catalysts features leaders and entrepreneurs from across the pharma, biotech, devices/diagnostics and digital health spectrum; they were selected for the innovations they bring to the healthcare industry.

“This year’s class of Transformers reflects the tremendous growth we’re seeing in medtech, as well as a more wholistic approach to health in general,” said Stephen Madden, MM&M’s editor-in-chief. “And as always, it’s pretty amazing to see how many very smart, creative people are working to help communities manage and improve their health.”

Windhausen has been key to the development of Intouch’s proprietary artificial intelligence engine, Cognitive CoreTM, which teaches virtual assistants to understand context. From safeguarding regulatory compliance to working directly with pharma medical review boards, he has led the charge to ensure Cognitive Core complies and delivers rapidly. Windhausen has also developed strategic partnerships with Adobe, Salesforce, and Veeva to integrate Cognitive Core for patient and HCP use. Windhausen was recently accepted into the Forbes Technology Council, an invite-only community for senior-level technology executives, where he will have the opportunity to collaborate and share expert insights with other respected leaders in the tech space. As head of development services, he leads more than 100 global technology colleagues; he played a pivotal role in the launch of Intouch B2D, a technology and production services hub.
