Take Action by Giving Back

At EVERSANA INTOUCH, “Take Action” is one of our eight cultural beliefs. We encourage our employees to take action and get involved in the community in areas that mean the most to them. Employees are allotted paid volunteer time every year to spend giving back to organizations that fuel their passions.

In early 2022, we revamped our philanthropy program, The Give Back. The goal of this program is to support employees in their efforts to make the world a better place with organizations that rally behind health-related causes, fight to overcome healthcare inequities and support social-justice initiatives. It’s one of the many ways EVERSANA INTOUCH seeks to demonstrate how strongly we believe that the work we do for our clients, their patients, each other, and our communities, matters.

Recently, Simi Krishnan, SVP, Analytics, spoke to us about her “Take Action” experience:

“This is my favorite time of the year, the crisp fall weather (not counting this weekend if you’re in the Chicagoland area how gorgeous!), the beautiful colors of the changing leaves, and all the wonderful holidays from now through the end of the year!

The holiday season always gets me thinking of how we are blessed and, more importantly, how much I want to give back. Earlier this year, this thought led me to the National Charity League, Inc., a national mother-daughter philanthropic organization across the United States. The National Charity League supports and services communities in partnership with local and national nonprofits. Through this wonderful organization, my daughter and I have given our time to many local and national organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Greater Illinois Chapter. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Hannah Tolman Willkomm while volunteering at the Chicago Marathon and the Cycle for Life event in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Both events were wonderful, and not only gave my daughter and me insight into how amazing each individual struggling with this debilitating condition is, but also how strong and incredible the members of their family and support system are!

We also had the opportunity to work with other amazing mothers and daughters at these events, including Michelle Spellerberg, Melissa Beardsley , Elizabeth Belgio, Ph.D. and their teens!

I am so thankful that my daughter and I can be a small part of this huge initiative and make a difference, and hopefully continue to do so wherever we can.”
