EVERSANA INTOUCH Takes Action to Give Back to Those Affected by Recent Earthquakes

The devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria have left many people in need of relief and assistance. Thanks to our longstanding partnership with Heart to Heart International (HHI), approximately 30 EVERSANA INTOUCH employees local to Kansas City recently gathered to build over 900 hygiene kits for those affected by the earthquakes. The hygiene kits include essential hygiene items such as toothpaste, a washcloth, soap, and shampoo.

Since 2019, we’ve been partnering with HHI to spread the giving further than outside our own doors — helping to provide support for those working on the front lines during the earliest days of the pandemic and sponsoring infection prevention and control training. This was the second hygiene kit building event we’ve completed with HHI.

“Although I could not be in the affected regions of Turkey and Syria to help in person, I am thankful for the volunteer opportunity provided by EVERSANA INTOUCH and Heart to Heart International, which allowed me to be a part of the ocean of help pouring into these countries. I am grateful for this experience and proud to work alongside willing and selfless colleagues,” Can Kanli, Director Development services.

Stephanie Davis, Chair of The Give Back committee, is looking forward to planning several more events with HHI including a new virtual option so employees across all EVERSANA locations can participate and give back.

“I loved being able to be a part of a tangible way to support a community in need, even when they’re halfway across the world. Understanding first-hand the experience of individuals in those areas made it even more apparent how crucial these kits are to supporting the people of Turkey and Syria as they look to rebuild.  I’m so grateful that we have organizations like HHI to partner with, so we can not only educate our employees, but can also provide ways for us to come together and support those in need.” – Stephanie Davis, Associate Director PMO & The Give Back Committee Chair.
