What it Takes to Build a World-Class SEO and Content Strategy Team

We are fortunate that our leadership at EVERSANA INTOUCH strives to grow and develop forward-thinking and innovative teams, all while keeping an eye on business growth and providing top-notch services to our clients. 

Nathan Stewart, SVP, SEO & Content Strategy, is one of those leaders, and was recently highlighted in “20 to Know in Advertising in KC,” published by the Kansas City Business Journal. 

Nathan has focused on digital marketing for the past 18 years, working in Account, Media, and Analytics, and has applied this diverse knowledge towards the healthcare space, bringing meaningful and measurable results for brands across a wide spectrum of categories. 

In his 14 years at EVERSANA INTOUCH, Nathan has built the SEO and Content Strategy teams and evolved them into the industry-leading and innovative inbound marketing programs they are today. Both teams now consist of about 30 members and are fully integrated into strategic processes and practices. 

“Being a part of the SEO and Content Strategy teams through its growth and development has been one of my greatest professional achievements,” said Nathan. “My vision has always been on hiring top talent and providing top training, with the belief and experience that if you can build a team made of clever, kind people, the rest will take care of itself. By enhancing our training and onboarding, we can focus on hiring less around knowledge of skills, like SEO, and more around attitude, passion, and team fit. This has allowed the team to be filled with amazingly bright and kind people, who love to come together and have so much to offer our clients. I am thrilled to see where these teams are right now, and even more excited to see where they will be over the coming years.” 

With most of the Content Strategy team spread across the U.S., Nathan flexes a hybrid leadership style, hosting weekly virtual team meetings to share learnings, recognize work, and establish time for team bonding. 

A majority of the SEO team is local to the Kansas City area and has developed a one-of-a-kind culture of camaraderie and service, making volunteering a part of every team gathering. They have volunteered at local Kansas City sites such as Harvesters, Happy Bottoms, and the Overland Park Arboretum. 

In 2023 the SEO team was a two-time finalist for the US Search Awards and shortlisted at the US Agency Awards for SEO Agency of the Year.
