EVERSANA INTOUCH® is committed to doing good in our communities worldwide. Our vision to create a healthier world for all keeps us aligned and continually guides our philanthropy, whether that be through in-kind and monetary donations or employee volunteerism. Giving back is central to our culture.
In 2022, EVERSANA INTOUCH introduced a restructured philanthropy program, The Give Back. The Give Back is an all-encompassing program to support our efforts to make the world a better place, including the fight to overcome healthcare inequities and support social justice causes. The program includes three pillars:
EVERSANA INTOUCH® for Health is our commitment to supporting human and animal health causes that our employees care most about.
- One of our signature Give Back partnerships is with Adopt-a-Lab, a program that is improving health clinics nationwide through Heart to Heart International. Adopt-a-Lab helps ensure community clinics have modern testing and diagnostic equipment, training, and protocols to treat patients with chronic conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, and more. Through our sponsorship, these clinics are now able to run tests and receive lab results during the same patient visit. This enables prompt, accurate diagnosis and treatment, which is vital for patients seeking health services at free clinics. Together, we are working to help close the gap on health inequities, and expand healthcare access, for better patient outcomes. EVERSANA INTOUCH currently sponsors two clinics; one in Kansas City and the other in Chicago.
EVERSANA INTOUCH® with the World is our avenue to support clients whose mission and vision we believe in, but who may have limited funds.
- In 2021, we helped launch a competition to create awareness around child trafficking. “Students Stopping Traffic” inspired Kansas City-area high school students to create a compelling awareness campaign or idea to combat the trafficking and targeting of peers in their own communities.
EVERSANA INTOUCH® for Justice is our commitment to achieving social justice for all by supporting organizations that fight systemic racism.
- In 2020, in response to the murder of George Floyd, we matched employee donations for three organizations fighting systemic racism: the Equal Justice Initiative, the Innocence Project, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
We continuously promote and provide opportunities for employees to get involved, both physically and financially, to better our communities. For example, in April 2022, employees joined EVERSANA INTOUCH CEO, Faruk Capan, to aid in crisis relief for Ukrainian refugees by assembling hygiene kits at our company headquarters. We also offer four hours of paid volunteer time a year to every employee, as well as employee matching grant opportunities.
